Clinic Policies

  • To secure your appointment with Skin Cam, please review and acknowledge the following terms:

    • A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required for all new clients at the time of booking their first appointment.

    • No appointment is confirmed until the deposit has been received. This applies to all bookings made online or via direct contact.

    • The deposit will be deducted from your total consultation fee at the time of your visit, or may be retained on your account for future appointments if preferred.

    Cancellation & Rescheduling

    • We have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy.

      • Cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

      • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances and are non-transferable to other individuals. The name on the booking must match the name on the deposit.

    • You may reschedule your appointment once, provided it is done more than 48 hours prior to your original appointment time.

      • If a second reschedule is required, a new booking deposit will be required.

    We implement these policies to respect the time of both clients and practitioners, and to ensure fair access to appointments for all. Thank you for your understanding and support.

  • Please be advised of the following conditions when booking an appointment at Skin Cam:

    • Booking Fee Forfeiture:
      Cancelling your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failing to attend without notice, will result in the forfeiture of your booking fee, and further charges may apply.

    • No-Show Fee:
      Clients who do not show up to their appointment without prior notice will be charged 50% of the remaining balance of the treatment booked

    • Extended Appointment Slots:
      For appointments exceeding 60 minutes, a no-show or late cancellation will be charged as a double booking, due to the extended time and resources allocated

    • Repeat No-Shows:
      Clients who repeatedly miss appointments without notice will be banned from using the online booking system, and future bookings may only be accepted at the clinic’s discretion

    These policies are in place to ensure fairness, protect our team’s time, and maintain availability for all clients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

  • To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, we kindly ask that you allow ample travel time and arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment.

    • Arriving Late:
      If you arrive late, your treatment time may be reduced to avoid delays for the next client. We appreciate your understanding in helping us run on time.

    • 15+ Minutes Late:
      Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their appointment will have their treatment automatically cancelled, and the $50 booking deposit will be forfeited as a late cancellation fee.

    • No-Show & Late Cancellations:
      In the event of a no-show or cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, the $50 deposit will be forfeited.

    These policies are in place to respect the time of all clients and practitioners. We thank you for your punctuality and cooperation.

  • All skincare product sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

    If you believe a product is faulty, damaged, or causes an adverse reaction, please contact us at info@skincam.com.au within 7 days of purchase to discuss your concerns. We may request evidence (e.g., photos, batch numbers, or product return) to assess the issue. Where appropriate, we will offer a refund, replacement, or store credit in line with your rights under ACL.

    Please note:

    • Products must be used only as directed, and any misuse or mishandling that results in damage or skin response may void your right to a remedy.

    • For hygienic reasons, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used products unless they are confirmed to be faulty or contaminated.

    • Concerns related to product formulations, ingredients, or manufacturer-specific reactions should be addressed directly with the product manufacturer. Skin Cam acts as a retailer only and cannot be held liable for any adverse responses due to ingredient sensitivities, formulation changes, or manufacturer defects beyond our control.

    We recommend conducting a patch test before use and contacting the brand directly if you have questions regarding specific ingredients or formulations.

  • Treatment Package Terms & Conditions

    By purchasing a treatment package with Skin Cam, you agree to the following:

    • Upfront Payment Required:
      All discounted treatment packages require full upfront payment. Once purchased, the treatment value is applied as credit and securely stored on your client account.

    • Final Sale Policy:
      All package sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for change of mind, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

    • Use of Credit:
      Package credit is not transferable and cannot be used for skincare product purchases. However, if a specific treatment is no longer suitable or necessary, your therapist may approve an exchange of credit toward alternative services of equal or lesser value, based on professional judgment.

    • Validity Period:
      Packages are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, as required under the ACL for gift card and pre-paid service regulations.

    We are committed to offering flexible and effective treatment planning. If you have any questions about how to get the most from your package, please speak to your therapist.

  • Due to salon policies, no babies or children are to attend your appointment. Please note we are operating out of a shared space and this allows for staff and client comfort and safety.

  • At Skin Cam, the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our clients and staff are our top priorities. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following policies:

    • Right to Refuse Service:
      Skin Cam Clinic reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason, including but not limited to behaviour, health concerns, or non-compliance with clinic policies.

    • Respectful Conduct:
      Rude, aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour towards our staff or other clients will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Any such behaviour may result in immediate termination of your appointment and a permanent ban from future bookings.

    • Health & Illness Policy:
      Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, including symptoms such as fever, cough, cold, flu-like symptoms, or contagious skin conditions.
      If you arrive visibly unwell, you will be refused service, and fees may apply in line with our cancellation policy.

    These guidelines are in place to ensure a professional, respectful, and safe environment for everyone. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

  • If you would like to use Afterpay for your service, please ensure you have an Afterpay account and mobile app that is set up and ready to go prior to arriving at your appointment
